External and Internal faces are manufactured from 15mm grade 3 OSB (Orientated Strand Board) to both faces. Manufactured to BS EN 300: 1997, load bearing orientated strand board for use in humid conditions. FSC certified.
Insulation core Polyurethane (PUR): CFC & HCFC free, closed cell insulation core with a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). Nominal density 40kg/m3 – 45kg/m3. GWP value is less than 5 to comply with BREEAM environment standards.
Panel spline joints achieve low air leakage and excellent thermal performance. Alternative timber joints for added structural performance can be provided.

Loading Capacity Walls – EnviroSips / 125mm panel have passed the requirements of BS5268 the following values include a safety factor of 3 were indicated **.
Axial = 74 kNm. ** Eccentric = 40.95 kNm **Racking Mean Load, 0 kN R = 2280/mm² Racking Mean Load, 5 kN R = 2780/mm².
Concentrated loads – Panel Centre = 7.0 kN, Mid point on panel Joint = 7.8 kN, Lateral Load UDL = 23.6 kN/m².
The EnviroSips panels have passed the requirements of BS476 Part 21 fire-resistance of load bearing walls and has achieve up to 60 min fire rating.
Internal Walls – OSB Faced panel plus 12.5mm plasterboard to each face achieved a weighted Sound Reduction Index (SRI) 40db. (This construction will achieve a 30 minutes fire rating)
Party Walls – OSB Faced Panel plus one face with 12.5mm sound block and one face with 12.5mm plaster board, achieved a weighted Sound Reduction Index (SRI) 46 db. (This construction will achieve a 60 minute fire rating).
Overall air leakage for complete envelope less than 10m3/hr/m2 at 50Pa. In accordance with Part L of the Building regulations.
