Envirosips have carried out the Building Safety Funded (BSF) cladding remediation to Gresham Mill Salford. The existing cladding and architectural perimeter window profiles were mass filled with expanded polystyrene (EPS) with cavities formed behind the cladding which had no fire breaks.
The existing cladding panels and window profiles along with carrier systems were removed back to the internal brickwork walls. These were replaced with new carrier systems, Rockwool insulation, fire breaks and replacement aluminium cladding providing a none combustible A2 rated system solution.
Envirosips worked in close consultation with the clients appointed specialist contract administrator Thomasons.
Works were completed in 2023
