Envirosips have been awarded repeat business, to carry out facade remediation and roofing works at the Red Building.
We are pleased to advise that we have successfully secured Gateway 2 approval from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), for the facade cladding and roof refurbishment project.
In collaboration with our valued client Grays Inn Capital supported by Neaves & Co and partners, BTP Architects, Introba Fire Engineering and WRT Consultants, we have worked with the BSR to successfully demonstrate a building regulations compliant design, to achieve Gateway 2 approval. With the extended processing of BSR applications being the subject of government and media attention, this is a significant milestone allowing us to progress on site with the remediation of the building.
Under the Building Safety Act 2022 Gateway 2 is a critical approval process, introduced for a HRB (High Risk Building), as it is over 7 storeys / 18m in height and contains more that two residential units.
We have now commenced on site with a 54 week project duration, methodically removing combustible materials and replacing with fully compliant systems.
